Sometimes the best pieces of writing don’t have to have life changing morals or messages. They don’t always need to be about finding happiness or fulfillment or answers or purpose. They don’t need darkness, gravity, reality, despair, or death to be be taken seriously. And they don’t always have complex plot twists, underlying themes, or anything else on a grand scale.
Some of the best pieces of literature are amazingly simple. About regular people and situations. Only calling upon a few choice emotions and making use of just enough words.
